In 1977, the Broker, George Morrissey, purchased his first rental property with the help of his father a retired Air Force Lt. Col. who had become a real estate broker in the late 1960's. Having vacancy and the other usual rental challenges made George learn the business quickly or suffer the vacancy and related costs. Becoming an efficient landlord allowed him to continue to play tennis full time on a four-year athletic scholarship and graduate in 1980. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance (with a concentration in Real Estate) from UNLV.

In 1981 he became a full time real estate buyer's agent in a market where mortgage rates went to about 14%. He was already managing properties for his family when he began to expand fill a "much needed niche" managing property for others. He has expanded over the years still receiving referrals from clients long ago with many still "on the books" over twenty years.

Having rented over 2,000 homes to all types of tenants over the years - and only having to attend eviction court eleven times - he kept expanding his operations and improving his methods for greater success. After his fathers passing he started a new firm in 1996 to consolidate various holdings and clients which is when Property Services, Inc. began. The firm continues to help many owners and tenants in need. Some of the staff and agents here at the firm were

And 3) one of his fathers employees.

Currently there is over sixty years of combined property management experience among the agents and staff. Unique to our company is that each agent pays close attention to the market - since they all own rental property themselves as well as their clients. We have a variety of properties that we take care of in Southern Nevada. Many of our clients live out of state and some out of the country.

Our rentals have rented from $650 to $5,900 a month. We look for long-term tenants and owners so all may benefit from the specialized business procedures that we practice. Most everything we do is customized and personal for each situation. We try and stay on the cutting edge of this specialized business that is both an art and a science. By the way, George still owns that first rental he purchased with his Dad's help in 1977.
